seed establishment. The application lends itself to wide variety of
locations and seed species including droughts tolerant lawn grasses,
ground covers, wildflowers, meadow & clover mixes, native & specialty

and situations as site conditions, irrigation and dryland-native areas lend

means of applying seed and fertiliser on sloping areas prone to erosion or

Our Eco Hydroseeding components are mixed together in water with the
resultant slurry then applied to the soil surface by a high pressure jet.
The mixture is kept in permanent suspension before application with
pumping and agitation equipment which re-circulates the materials.
Erosion control is achieved by applying a mulch of chopped newspaper
(and or sugarcane mulch for stronger adhesion to surfaces), organic
fertiliser, a green dye for direction and tackifiers (a gummy substance to
hold all the components together) as a separate operation over the
hydroseeded area. The mulch creates a micro climate between the
underlayer of recycled newspaper and the soil surface, creating ideal
germinating conditions by moderating soil surface temperature.
Leading to faster germination time, healthier root structure and using
less resources (i.e time & water) to get the best grassed area possible.

Australia’s first green living centre opens on Gold Coast

Gold Coast-based Ultimate Green Solutions Ideas Centre, Australia’s first
green home and lifestyle solutions centre, will open to the public with a
weekend of festivities on 3-4 September 2010, to help raise money
for Make-A-Wish^® Australia.

Ultimate Green Solutions Sales and Marketing Manager, Heidi Eisel said
the centre is Australia’s first to bring suppliers and designers of practical
green solutions under the one roof.

“We’re incredibly proud to be the first Australian company to provide t
his service that benefits the public and the building and design industries”
she said.

“Our exhibitors include local and Australian companies known for the

Basic Directions

Before applying the grass paint, cut the grass to desired height. Mix at the rate of 1 litre to 12-15 litres of water depending on the desired shade.
