Solar Hybrid Air Conditioning for around a $1 a day??? Heres proof……….

WOW I’m gobsmacked!
Recently we were at an installation site of a running 3.5 kwt Solakool Solar Hybrid Air Conditioner in Albany Creek in Brisbane Qld.

The Energy Smart Digital Power Monitor was running at 30 watts an hour while connected to the Solakool A/C running quietly in the background. When the compressor kicks in the wattage raises to around 800-900 ( for a very shiort period , lets say 10-15minutes ) So we run with an average of 435 watts per hour.  Conventional 3.5 kwt models use around 2000- 2500 watts an hour while running) so we will run with a constant 2000 watts per hour as the compresor in inverter models has to maintain a certain level to keep up with the power required while draw in and circulating existing  air.
So here’ s the comparison based on running 2 air conditioners 24/7 for 1 full month:

                            Solakool 3.5kwt A/C      Conventional 3.5kwt A/C
Watts/Hour         30 - 435                                       2000
X 24 hours       720- 10,440                                   48000
X 30 days      21,600- 313,200                          1,440,000
/1000watts per Kwt    21.6- 313.2                     1,440
X 22 cents/Kwt hour  (Qld rate)
$4.75 - $68.90 per month                        $316.80 per month
/30 days   $0.16 - $2.29 per day                $10.56 per day
/24 hours  $0.00.6 - $0.09.5 per hour *     $0.44 per hour

Average of  approximately
$0.04.4 cents per hour                               $0.44 per hour

$1.07.6 per day                                   $10.56 per day

So next time you buy an air conditioner.........
Which  type  will you choose?

Please do you own maths to determine your own results based on the formulas above  before deciding.
So next time you buy an air conditioner………
Which type will you choose?
cheers
